PPUG (Philadelphia PowerBook Users Group) will hold our third 2007 meeting on Saturday, November 3, 2007. The meeting will take place from noon to 3pm at the Manayunk Brewing Company.

We usually have lunch (or a brew) while we talk mobile computing. PPUG founders Jason O’Grady (PowerPage.org), Rob Parker, Bob Snow and Youngmoo Kim will be on hand to talk about latest iPod, iPhone and MacBook news.

The newly released Mac OS 10.5 (”Leopard”) will take center stage at the meeting and we’ll feature a complete demo. We’ll have our usual Q&A session and you’ll have the opportunity to share your cool stuff with the group.

Join us for a great meeting, and it’s free — open to all and your guests. Feel free to bring items to sell or swap as well.

After losing the PPUG.net domain name in an administrative oversight, I’m happy to report that we got it back. I had to pay a king’s ransom to get it back and got locked into the horror that is Network Solutions for 60 days, but the point is that we’re baaaaaaaack! We’ve also registered PPUG.us as a contingency plan, but probably won’t be using it.

PPUG.net is running on WordPress and is hosted on the PowerPage servers. Feel free to use all the neat features that WP provides, like comments, etc. The WP theme is iTheme 1.1 by N. Design Studio.

Thanks for your patience during the transition.
